Rather have it done than do it yourself?

Richard re-terminates and repairs location sound gear for other recordists and crews in Perth, and builds the cables a kit needs that nobody sells. It's bench work between shoots: drop it off or post it, and it comes back tested and invoiced, quoted up front.

3-pin LEMO for Sennheiser and Zaxcom, TA5F for Lectrosonics, TA4F and 3.5 mm. New plug and boot supplied, or bring your own.

Custom cables

Timecode (5-pin LEMO to BNC, 3.5 mm or TA5), power (2-pin LEMO, D-Tap, 4-pin XLR, Hirose), audio adaptors and Y-splits, and comms leads for Clear-Com and RTS.

Fault-finding and one-offs

A dead channel, an intermittent cable, a connector nobody stocks, or a bracket that doesn't exist yet. If it needs a 3D printer or a soldering iron, ask.
